Pakistan was represented in WCG 2009, Chengdue, China by our local talent in Counter Strike, FIFA09 and Warcraft TFT. The results were a disappointment but then we won from India which is what Pakistani's are always enthusiastic about. Final results as follows:
Counter Strike (Team U5): Won 1; Lost 3
FIFA09 (BabarScheva): Won 1; Lost 5
Warcraft TFT (Stud): Won 1; Lost 3
The highlights were that CounterStrike and FIFA09 won against India and Warcraft TFT won against Malaysia. However none of them made it to the next rounds which was pretty disappointing for all of us following the matches. Better luck next year!!
