ESWC re-born

2009 edition did not happen, but 2010 will. World’s top gamers will be able to compete during the 7 th Electronic Sports Wold Cup™ 2010 Grand Final (ESWC 2010) in Paris, France from June 30 to July 4, 2010.
DIP-Organisation, well known in France for the several events handled since five years, will organize the event in partnership with well known video games organisations.

The ESWC 2010 will be held in Disneyland ® Paris, the famous entertainment park in the Paris neighbourhood.
Disneyland® Paris will host the video games event in Disney®Village, an area including shopping, dining, cinemas, dancing and live entertainment for the whole family and open to anybody, park client as simple visitor.
Beside the event venue, Disneyland® Paris will also provide accommodations for the 600 champions during their journey among the numerous hotels of the resort.

ESWC 2010 competitors will vie for $200,000 in prize money divided between the World Champions and their challengers in several tournaments

WCG 2009 Grand Final Results from Chengdu, China

Pakistan was represented in WCG 2009, Chengdue, China by our local talent in Counter Strike, FIFA09 and Warcraft TFT. The results were a disappointment but then we won from India which is what Pakistani's are always enthusiastic about. Final results as follows:
Counter Strike (Team U5): Won 1; Lost 3
FIFA09 (BabarScheva): Won 1; Lost 5
Warcraft TFT (Stud): Won 1; Lost 3

The highlights were that CounterStrike and FIFA09 won against India and Warcraft TFT won against Malaysia. However none of them made it to the next rounds which was pretty disappointing for all of us following the matches. Better luck next year!!

Gamerrang Ramadan Challenge results..

Yeah... Gamerrang Ramzan Challenge is over....., Team Incredibles have once again proved why they are titled "The Best CS team in Pakistan".. It was a great event, a tough contest. Sunday night witnessed the best gaming battle ever.. Hats off to the Winners and the Runner up... We thank all the gamers who took part in this event and made this event such a huge success. We thank Wiredup Gaming for for their support and logistics. Keep watching PLAY as all the emotions and drama through out the tournament has been recorded and is being aired on PLAY with high frequency... The Final episode will be aired after EID. This Saturday you will get to watch the 3rd Phase of the tournament "Top 6". Elimination matches packages are being aired on PLAY and will be published on our YouTube Channel tomorrow.
